Auburn, IL

Description

Springfield Plastics, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Factory Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our Auburn, IL manufacturing facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities include:

  • clean designated production areas
  • refill supplies in designated production areas
  • removing dust and debris from machinery
  • sweep production areas with push broom and shop vacuum
  • mopping and using floor scrubber throughout production areas
  • replacing filters throughout production facility
  • emptying trash receptacles and debris pans
  • perform and document routine inspection
  • perform heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
  • stock and maintain supply rooms
  • cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • follow all health and safety regulations
  • clean all stools, stool seats, sinks, and fixtures
  • clean mirrors
  • restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  • clean microwave and fridge
  • mop
  • clean tables and chairs
  • vacuum
  • ensure outdoor areas of the facility remain clean and free of waste/trash
  • monitor and clean areas prone to condensation
  • other duties as assigned
