Todd Wells Agency of American Family Insurance in Littleton, CO is looking for someone that has a strong work ethic, drive for success, and desire to learn what it takes to be an agency owner!  We will nurture and cultivate this desire and set you up for success.  The most successful insurance producers have a passion for building strong relationships with people and then helping them find the right products and coverage to ensure they are protected correctly.     
 
Job Summary
At the Todd Wells Agency, we all were many hats including both servicing existing customers, and prospecting and selling American Family Insurance products (home, auto, umbrella and life insurance as well as small business insurance to locally owned businesses).  The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance sales, the ability to build exceptional customer relationships, and uncover customer`s needs, and match them with appropriate product and service offerings. 
Responsibilities 
  • Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
  • Proactively cross-sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers
  • Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts (Includes leads through centers of influence, social media, network and sales lead groups)
  • Secures new business through individual effort and established lead methods
  • Prepares quotes and applications and delivers effective presentations in order to close sales
  • Provide customer service including but not limited to assisting with policy changes and billing and claims questions
  • Conduct annual insurance reviews 
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers
  • Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance products. The following lines of authority are required for this position:  Property; and Casualty; and Life
