Job Description

As part of the Social Media & Influencer team, the Senior Social Media Manager executes Raising Cane’s social media strategy across all social platforms. This role is responsible for overseeing content calendars, social publishing, content creation and ideation, community management, monitoring trends and brand mentions, and social media performance reporting. The Senior Social Media Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to support marketing campaigns and initiatives and provides evening, weekend, and holiday support as business needs require.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily publishing across all brand social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, and YouTube
  • Oversee brand and founder content calendars and drive ongoing updates
  • Develop social media copy that aligns with brand and founder voice and messaging
  • Partner with Creative Services to develop and execute content, including trend-based, food-focused, and culturally relevant social content
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media performance reports and provide strategic analysis
  • Oversee social media channel maintenance, including profile updates, social media bio links, and platform information pages
  • Evaluate potential partnerships through a social media and brand reputation lens and demonstrate an understanding of cultural and consumer trends
  • Lead community engagement activities, including monitoring sentiment across social platforms, responding to Customer interactions, identifying user-generated content opportunities, and securing permissions for use across brand social channels
  • Monitor emerging trends and escalate potential social media issues in partnership with the Customer Relations team
  • Execute surprise-and-delight initiatives, manage communications with contest and giveaway winners, and support social media requests from local teams, including post amplification and event page creation

  • Up to 30%
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of social media management experience supporting a major consumer-facing brand
  • 3+ years of agency or client-side social media management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and emerging channels, with experience using social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools such as Sprinklr
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience with social media copywriting and brand voice development
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings, as business needs require
