Summary

This position is for posting purposes and is to be used as hiring for our Storage and Factory hourly employees in various labor positions within the warehouse. This position requires reliability to work at work on your assigned schedule days and times. Being able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis. Being able to work in various areas of a non-temperature controlled tobacco factory and warehouse. Being able to bend, stand, stoop, kneel, squat and walk prolonged periods of time. Depending upon the position, you may be either picking, receiving bales of tobacco, loading bales of tobacco, sorting, sweeping, etc. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 6:00AM-2:30PM

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

  • Work will vary based upon location and deparment
  • Storage location – located at 850 N. Water St. Lancaster work includes, but not limited to:
    • Unloading & Loading of 50# bales on to truck, carts etc.
    • Loading, Unloading and Packing Tobacco from and into Crates
    • Moving, transporting bales of tobacco throughout storage areas
    • Cleaning up areas of warehouse.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Factory location – located at 207 Pitney Rd. Lancaster work includes, but not limited to:
    • Unloading & Loading of 50# bales on to truck, carts etc.
    • Loading, Unloading and Packing Tobacco from and into Crates
    • Moving, transporting bales of tobacco throughout storage areas
    • Running tobacco machines and presses
    • Sorting through tobacco for foreign objects.
    • Cleaning up areas of warehouse.
    • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs repetively
  • Bend, stand, stoop, kneel, squat and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to be at work on time and on your scheduled days (Monday through Friday 6a-230p)
  • Ability to work in an environment that is hot or cold depending upon outside temperature.
  • Ability to work in a dusty, tobacco environment.
  • Ability to learn and work in various departments.
