Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.
 
Essential Functions
Serves as a senior technical specialist for maintenance support and equipment readiness in an Army Test Division. Executes the lifecycle of maintenance operations, ensuring optimal equipment availability and strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
 
  • Maintenance Operations & Equipment Readiness.  Executes and coordinates a comprehensive maintenance program encompassing scheduled services, unscheduled repairs, and both organizational and direct support maintenance. Utilizes Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army and Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) to monitor equipment status, process work orders, and maintain service schedules in accordance with RTC Memo 700-1, AR 750-1, and AR 710-4. Ensures all equipment meets Safety Operational Inspection standards and tracks the completion of Modification Work Orders (MWOs) and safety messages.
  • Fleet and Resource Management.  Coordinates operational logistics for Commercial Contracts and the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Motor Pool. Executes dispatch operations and tracks equipment utilization as per customer and Army regulations. Administers the day-to-day operations of the GSA Vehicle Fleet program, including usage tracking, maintenance scheduling, and coordinating with test division stakeholders.
  • Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Program.  Executes and maintains the test division’s TMDE program in accordance with AR 750-1 and AR 750-43. Maintains an accurate, up-to-date inventory of TMDE assets, ensuring proper calibration status, location tracking, and repair history documentation. Utilizes established database systems to track and report routine calibration, maintenance, and performance metrics.
  • Support Equipment Maintenance.  Coordinates large inventory maintenance and oversees the routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of specialized test support equipment, including lifting apparatuses, diagnostic tools, and material handling systems, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
 Required Education and Experience
  • HS/GED
  • Minimum of two to four (2 - 4) years’ experience working within the area of unit supply operations, large inventory maintenance, property management, administration and Army equipment calibration.
  • Possess knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
  • The individual must be familiar with AR 735-5. This regulation governs accountability, documentation, and coding of Army property.
  • The individual shall have a demonstrated knowledge of the Army calibration system and have a working understanding of current IT as applied to property accountability.
