Systems Engineer - Level 1 (TS/SCI with Polygraph)

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph


Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Level 1)to support mission-critical programs in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role focuses on systems engineering, requirements management, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to support development and integration efforts on medium-to-large scale systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, and verification)
  • Develop and manage system requirements, CONOPS, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to support system development and delivery
  • Utilize Jira/Confluence (or similar tools) for tracking, documentation, and coordination
  • Contribute to system modeling efforts using MBSE methodologies where applicable

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
    • (5 additional years of SE experience may substitute for a degree)
  • 7 years of systems engineering experience
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar)
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for requirements and project tracking

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or Rhapsody
  • Familiarity with SysML modeling
  • INCOSE ASEP certification (or similar)
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
