#JOBALERT | W2 CONTRACT | CERTIFIED CRANE OPERATOR [TLL] | DATA CENTER | EL PASO, TX
A national general contractor is adding a certified crane operator to a data center project in El Paso, TX. The work is setting equipment and transformers on a 70-ton or 55-ton Terex crane.

  • $46.00/hour
  • 5+ months anticipated | 5-6 days/week, 10-hour shifts (50-60 hours/week)
  • $175.00/day per diem
  • Requires NCCCO certification with TLL endorsement, OSHA 10, and a current DOT medical card
  • Start date: 08.31.2026 or 09.02.2026
Overview
  • Run a 70-ton or 55-ton Terex crane and stay inside the load chart on every pick
  • Set up each pick - outrigger position and cribbing, counterweight, boom configuration, radius, and a load chart check before the load leaves the ground
  • Set equipment and transformers on an active data center build
  • Perform and document daily crane inspections, and shut the machine down when it needs it
  • Coordinate every lift with the site superintendent, riggers, and signalperson
  • Hold the schedule for the length of the run - five to six 10-hour days a week for 5-plus months

Required
  • NCCCO certification with TLL endorsement, current and unexpired
  • Current OSHA 10 card
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Telescopic boom, swing-cab crane time in the 50-100 ton class - Terex, Grove, Link-Belt, or Tadano
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
