Under the direction of the Property Manager and Facilities Manager, the Grounds Tech performs a variety of grounds and property upkeep duties in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. This position assists with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our communities while using standard groundskeeping tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.

Driver's License is required for the position. Some landscaping or custodial experience preferred. General Groundskeeper Duties.

  • Perform general groundskeeping duties to maintain clean, safe, and orderly communities, including trash and pet waste removal, breezeway cleaning, and exterior property upkeep.
  • Perform seasonal grounds duties, including snow and ice removal, deicing, leaf removal, and light landscaping.
  • Assist with custodial duties as needed.
  • Safely operate standard groundskeeping tools and equipment and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain basic reports and records as required.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.
  • Follow established safety procedures and basic Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
