JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for cleaning restrooms, buildings, office areas, playground equipment, event spaces, as well as other outdoor spaces, furniture and equipment.
This is a part-time position with up to 29 hours per week. Primary hours will be evenings and weekends.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete a variety of cleaning tasks both inside and outside. Indoor areas include TitletownTech, Fit building and Ariens Hill. Outdoor areas include Hy-Vee Plaza, Ariens Hill, Shopko Optical Playground and Titletown Square.
  • Remove trash from public areas and properly dispose of trash and recycling.
  • Properly handle and use cleaning products and chemicals.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning restrooms, wiping solid surfaces, dusting, sweeping, mopping, replenishing soap and paper products, etc.
  • Maintain clean, orderly storage rooms and stock supplies appropriately.
  • Respond to housekeeping calls and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Occasionally assist with setup of tables, chairs, tents, etc. for programs + events
  • Provide world-class service levels by maintaining a safe, inviting, and pleasant atmosphere.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous employment experience in event setup or housekeeping preferred.
  • Possess a solid work ethic, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.
  • Possess resourcefulness, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must hold a valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Ability to reach, bend, climb, and lift on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly exposed to extreme outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to push and/or pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and lift, for extended periods of time.
  • Operates in a professional environment.

TRAVEL: No regular travel is expected for this position.
SUPERVISES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
