Job Title: Insurance Coverage Attorney Location: Seattle, Washington Schedule: Full-Time; Hybrid or Remote Pay Rate: $75-$90/hr. Employment Type: Contract Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a law firm seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to support its growing insurance coverage practice. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated insurance coverage matters, provide strategic legal analysis, and work directly with clients on complex coverage issues. The ideal candidate will be able to independently evaluate coverage questions, draft comprehensive coverage opinions, and provide practical guidance on a wide range of insurance-related matters. Responsibilities:
  • Analyze insurance policies and evaluate complex coverage issues
  • Draft detailed coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters
  • Provide legal guidance regarding policy interpretation and coverage disputes
  • Conduct legal research related to insurance coverage matters
  • Assist with coverage litigation and pre-litigation strategy
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to assess risk and develop solutions
  • Manage matters efficiently while meeting client deadlines and expectations
Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active Washington State Bar membership in good standing
  • 5+ years of insurance coverage experience
  • Demonstrated experience drafting insurance coverage opinions is required
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policy interpretation and coverage analysis
  • Experience advising clients on complex coverage issues and risk exposure
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Strong communication and client service skills
