What is a Title 365 job?

A Title 365 job typically refers to a position at Title 365, a company that provides title insurance, escrow, and settlement services in real estate transactions. Employees may work in roles such as title examiner, escrow officer, or customer service representative, assisting with property title searches and ensuring smooth transactions. These positions require attention to detail, knowledge of real estate processes, and strong communication skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Title 365 position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Title 365 specialist, you need a thorough understanding of real estate title processes, document analysis, and property law, often supported by experience in title insurance or escrow services. Familiarity with industry-standard title software (like Title365 or ResWare) and related certifications is highly beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organization, and clear communication set standout candidates apart. These skills ensure accurate title research, timely closings, and effective collaboration with clients, lenders, and agents in the real estate transaction process.

What are the most common challenges faced by Title 365 specialists in a fast-paced real estate environment?

Title 365 specialists often face tight deadlines, frequent communication with various stakeholders, and the need to quickly resolve title discrepancies or issues. Navigating complex property records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant can be challenging, particularly during periods of high transaction volume. Staying organized and adaptable is key, as priorities can shift rapidly depending on client needs or last-minute changes in a transaction. However, these challenges also present valuable opportunities to develop problem-solving skills and gain deeper expertise in real estate title processes.

Job description

At Barrister Title, we’re known for being the calm, confident eye of the storm — but behind that calm is a team that moves fast, stays sharp, and takes care of people.

We’re looking for a Title Assistant who thrives on staying busy, jumping in wherever needed, and making sure nothing — and no one — gets overlooked.

If you’re someone who:
  • doesn’t like sitting still.
  • takes initiative without being asked.
  • loves helping people and keeping things organized.
..you’ll fit right in here.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be a key part of our operations team, supporting title examiners and helping keep files moving smoothly from start to finish:
  • Open new title files and accurately enter order details.
  • Monitor and manage incoming order emails and respond promptly.
  • Prepare and update CPLs and preliminary Closing Disclosures (CDs).
  • Send out title orders and coordinate supporting documentation.
  • Prepare seller-side title documents for outgoing files.
  • Communicate with clients, agents, and lenders to keep everyone informed.
  • Assist with front desk and phones as needed — we work as a team.

What Makes This Role Important:
You’re not just handling tasks — you’re:
  • The momentum behind every file.
  • The extra set of eyes that keeps details accurate.
  • The friendly voice clients remember.
  • The go-to person who helps everything run smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A proactive, can-do attitude — you don’t wait to be told what to do.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, professional, and friendly communication skills.
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and being part of a team.
  • Prior title, lending, or real estate experience is a plus — but we will train the right person.

Why You’ll Love Barrister Title:
  • Supportive, team-first culture — everyone pitches in.
  • Fast-paced, engaging workdays — no two days are the same.
  • Opportunity to learn the title process from the ground up.
  • Growth potential within a respected, multi-office company.
  • A positive environment where your energy and effort are appreciated.

About Us:
Barrister Title is built on professionalism, reliability, and relationships. We take pride in doing things the right way — and creating a great experience for everyone involved.
