POSITION: Title 1 Tutor
LOCATION: Notre Dame Academy
WORK YEAR: 5 days a week (2 hours per day/36 weeks)
STARTING: September 3, 2026
SALARY RANGE: $35 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
  • Able to collect and maintain student academic data.
  • Experience in providing appropriate instructional small group techniques and methods in assisting students learning key concepts/ skills.
  • Current NH certification required

GOALS: To provide supplemental support in reading assessment to students who are at risk of not achieving state standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide individual or small group instruction.
  • Communicate and collaborate with school staff.
  • Maintain required records.
  • Conduct benchmark assessments each trimester.

JOB SUMMARY: The Title 1 tutor provides reading instruction for students requiring small group instruction, and performs related duties in accordance with District policies. The Title 1 tutor is responsible for group and individual instruction in reading for students who meet state and federal guidelines. The Title I tutor is also responsible for collaborating with teachers and administration regarding the needs and progress as it relates to student achievement.
