Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial tire press equipment safely and efficiently
  • Mount and press large industrial, OTR, construction, or specialty tires onto wheels and assemblies
  • Inspect wheels, rims, and tires before and after pressing to ensure proper fit and condition
  • Assist with dismounting, replacing, and servicing industrial tire assemblies
  • Follow proper procedures for handling high-pressure equipment and heavy materials
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or repair needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and shop procedures
  • Assist other shop personnel with tire service and related duties as needed
  • Complete work orders and service documentation accurately

Qualifications
  • Previous tire service, heavy equipment, industrial shop, or mechanical experience preferred
  • Experience working with industrial tire presses or large tire equipment is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Forklift or service equipment experience is a plus

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy tires, wheels, and equipment with proper tools and assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and work in a shop environment
  • Ability to work around heavy machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
