If you're detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and interested in growing your career while supporting vehicles customers depend on, join the Avis Budget Group team supporting Budget Truck operations.
This role is a great opportunity to gain experience working on a fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands while building a strong foundation in automotive and truck maintenance.
What You'll Do:
You will perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on our fleet of box trucks and cargo vans. This includes oil and fluid services, tire repairs and rotations, and completing all tasks in a safe and quality-focused manner.
Depending on your experience, you may assist more experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics as your skills develop. You may also be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or operational needs.
By helping keep vehicles well maintained and reliable, your work directly supports customer safety, vehicle availability, and a smooth rental experience.

What We're Looking For:
• Valid Driver's License (Class A, B, or C)
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior auto maintenance experience
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus
