Purpose

The welder will use specialized equipment to fabricate custom machinery for the automation industry.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Read prints, stage, setup, and fabricate weldments
  • Majority of work is fabrication to print- almost no fixture work
  • Follow and complete established quality control processes and procedures
  • Document work (sign off on completed parts/prints)
  • Weld a wide range of parts: 1/4" sheet metal up to 3" plate as well as structural steel tubes and beams - occasionally stainless steel
  • Assist in maintaining equipment (Lincoln and Miller welders; Hydmech saw)

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of a welder apprenticeship (Preferred)
  • Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands for gripping
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship - no sponsorship is available for this position
