Position Summary:
Responsible for all architecture and design sales activities for residential and/or commercial projects in assigned accounts or regions.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and maintain client and prospective client relationships to ensure market growth and promotion of all products
  • Develop and maintain business to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Drive product specifications through A&D firms and manage project until order is secured
  • Present product information to customers, including features, benefits and new product offerings. Educate customers to ensure products are understood and used effectively.
  • Provide samples and /or demonstrations as requested.
  • Be current and active in opportunity tracking and call notes through company customer management programs.
  • Complete monthly Scorecard/high payoff activities to support pipeline and sales growth.
  • Attend project tracking meetings, product presentations, and other regularly scheduled meetings and events required or as assigned.
  • Proactively seeks to improve product knowledge by interacting with internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Maintain client Libraries with the most current and applicable products for that firm
  • Maintain monthly expense targets set forth by the direct manager annually.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, BA or equivalent experience in Interior Design preferred
  • Minimum 2 years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success
  • One of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business)
  • Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance
  • Good Driving record, able to meet Virginia Tile driving qualifications
  • Well-groomed with professional business attire and appearance
  • Must be able to transport company product in personal vehicle
  • Adequate and dependable transportation for daily travel to and from customer site
  • Must be able to drive throughout the workday
  • Qualification is ideal but not required: System knowledge: Microsoft suites, Power BI

Travel:
  • Ability to travel regionally or nationally occasionally
  • Ability to travel overnight occasionally

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day minimum
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours as necessary to attend customer outings, meetings and/or trade association meetings, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
