Job description

Tile Setter Apprentice

Pay: $17.00–$20.00+ per hour, depending on experience and skillset

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Tile Setter Apprentice who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in the construction industry.

You will work directly alongside experienced Tile Setters and skilled craftsmen, gaining hands-on experience with commercial tile installation while developing the skills needed to become a professional Tile Setter.

This position also provides the opportunity to participate in our Apprenticeship Program, combining hands-on field experience with continued development in the trade.

What You'll Do
  • Work alongside experienced Tile Setters on commercial projects

  • Assist with setting, cutting, grouting, and finishing tile

  • Prepare surfaces and work areas for tile installation

  • Mix and prepare setting materials

  • Stage and organize tile, tools, and materials

  • Learn proper tile installation techniques from skilled craftsmen

  • Maintain clean and safe jobsites

  • Follow direction from Foremen and experienced team members

  • Work as part of a team to complete quality installations

This position is designed as an apprenticeship opportunity, but we are absolutely open to candidates who already have tile or construction experience.

If you have experience setting tile, grouting, finishing, making cuts, prepping surfaces, or working independently on tile installations, we are open to discussing a higher starting wage based on your demonstrated skill level and experience.
