Job description

Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, rebuilds, constructs, and maintains woodwork and other related structures. Follows plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

  • Installation of doors, windows, and accompanying hardware
  • Read and follow blueprints
  • Framing, both metal studs, and wood
  • Hanging and finishing drywall
  • Installation of casework and countertops
  • Installation of both rough and finish carpentry
