Best Tile has an opening for a (Full Time) Design Sales Consultant who will:
  • Use your expertise in home dรฉcor and current design trends to inspire customers to create tile design solutions.
  • Assist customers select the products and installation systems that will work for their desired project.
  • Work with multiple customer types from residential home owners, home builders, remodelers, designers, commercial developers.
  • Help maintain the one of the largest tile showrooms in New England. This includes daily housekeeping, merchandising, sample and display layout to impress and inspire our customers.
  • Assist Branch Manager and Showroom Manager achieve sales objectives.
  • Represent Best Tile as the leader in tile and design in the region.
  • Stay privy to current design trends and product information in a constantly evolving industry.

Requirements
Required Skills:
  • Design experience; home/bath/kitchen preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with a drive to achieve sales goals and exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, balancing multiple priorities and working well under pressure in a retail environment.
  • Solid computer and mathematical skills
  • Sales and customer service experience to highly demanding customers
  • Ability to self motivate, set and achieve goals.
  • Ability to learn and adapt in the constantly changing world of design and construction materials.
