THE JOB

GLC Live at 20 Monroe is seeking team members to join our overnight cleaning team. Cleaning team members restore the venue to a clean and safe space after events. They actively participate in our recycling program, disinfect all areas of the venue, and generally maintain the cleanliness of the venue and its assets.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Keep the venue safe and clean, including but not limited to:

  • Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms.

  • Restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products.

  • Dispose of trash appropriately, clean cans, and re-line receptacles.

  • Actively recycle cans and other appropriate items.

  • Vacuum and/or mop all floors, working knowledge of a floor scrubber preferred.

  • Clean seats and in-between seats throughout various areas of the venue.

  • Use cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, vacuum cleaner, etc.

  • Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.

  • Put away venue equipment at the end of the shift.

  • Reset venue and its equipment to next day's configuration.

  • Maintain service rooms and storage areas.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly venue.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Requires a high school diploma/GED

  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

  • Three or more years in cleaning services or related type work preferred

  • Must be able to work overnight.

  • Must have flexible availability as event schedule varies per month.

  • Must have reliable personal transportation or access to the public transportation system.

  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
