Summary:
The Ticket Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating ticket revenue through the sale of a full menu of Utah Royals FC ticket products, including group tickets, season memberships, partial plans, and premium seating. This role focuses on proactively building relationships throughout the community to grow the fan base and promote women's professional soccer in Utah.
Sales activities include phone prospecting, in-person meetings, networking events, community outreach, and matchday engagement. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, relationship-driven, and passionate about helping expand the reach and impact of Utah Royals FC.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Generate ticket revenue through the sale of Utah Royals FC ticket products, including season memberships, partial plans, group tickets, and premium seating.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, in-person meetings, networking events, and stadium tours.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, youth soccer organizations, schools, and community groups to grow the Utah Royals FC fan base.
  • Promote Utah Royals FC and women's professional soccer through active community outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Sell group ticket packages to soccer clubs, corporate partners, community organizations, and affinity groups.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for assigned accounts, ensuring a positive fan experience throughout the season.
  • Accurately track all sales activities, contacts, and pipeline opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Support matchday operations by hosting clients, assisting with group experiences, prospecting new fans, and supporting hospitality areas.
  • Participate in community events, networking functions, and club initiatives to generate new leads and strengthen community connections.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the Ticket Sales department.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or ticket sales.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, holidays, and community events as required.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance consistent with club standards.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, sports management, or a related field.
  • Previous ticket sales experience within sports or live entertainment.

Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout stadium and event environments for extended periods. The position may occasionally require lifting or carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds. Work will take place in both office and stadium settings, including indoor and outdoor environments, and may involve varying weather conditions during matchdays and community events.
