Job description

We are looking for welcoming, service-oriented individuals to join our team for this special engagement.

If you enjoy helping people feel comfortable, informed, and welcomed, this role offers an opportunity to be part of a meaningful shared experience for guests of all ages.

Position Overview

Event Staff play an important role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and well-organized environment throughout the guest journey. Working in a variety of front-of-house positions, team members help ensure that every guest feels guided, supported, and valued from arrival to departure.

This is a hands-on role that combines hospitality, attentiveness, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and assist with ticket support, and ushering/seating guidance
  • Provide thoughtful and courteous guest service, including answering questions and offering clear directions
  • Assist with ticketing inquiries and help resolve concerns with care and professionalism
  • Monitor exhibit spaces to ensure steady guest flow and a comfortable environment
  • Help maintain a calm, respectful atmosphere within the venue
  • Observe and report any safety concerns to supervisors
  • Support team members and contribute positively to daily operations
  • Assist with additional duties as needed to ensure a successful event

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1 year of direct experience in customer service, hospitality, community events, or retail is an asset
  • Comfort using POS or ticketing systems (training provided)
  • Friendly, composed, and approachable presence
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly to individuals and small groups
  • Bilingual (English plus another language) considered an asset
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team
  • Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a shift

Schedule & Availability

  • Primarily part-time hours
  • Evening and weekend availability is required
  • All performances and events take place in the evening
  • Must be available on weekends and holidays during the exhibit run

Compensation

  • $20.00 per hour
