The Ticket Office Operations Specialist provides operational support for university-wide ticketing and customer service functions. This position assists with event setup, ticket sales, customer service, event-day operations, reporting, and patron support while helping ensure a consistent and positive customer experience across all university venues. The coordinator serves as a primary customer-facing representative of University Ticket Office and works closely with campus partners, event organizers, student employees, and patrons to support successful event execution.

This is an in-office position located in Stephenville, Texas. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required based on event schedules and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event setup and management within the university ticketing system.

  • Build and maintain event manifests, seating configurations, pricing structures, promotional offers, and ticket inventory.

  • Coordinate ticket sales and distribution for events and university programs.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, donors, sponsors, alumni, and community patrons.

  • Respond to ticketing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

  • Resolve customer concerns and ticketing issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist with processing exchanges, refunds, complimentary tickets, and special requests in accordance with university policies.

  • Support daily box office operations and customer service activities.

  • Assist with cash handling, reconciliation, and settlement procedures as needed.

  • Maintain accurate ticketing records and documentation.

  • Help ensure compliance with established operational procedures.

  • Assist with event-day ticketing operations.

  • Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth patron entry and event operations.

  • Serve as an on-site ticketing representative during assigned events.

  • Assist with training and supervision of student workers and part-time ticketing staff.

  • Support scheduling and staffing efforts for ticketed events.

  • Assist with ticket sales reporting, attendance tracking, and event settlements.

  • Support data collection and analysis efforts.

  • Assist in implementing ticketing initiatives and operational improvements.

  • Acts as representative of Campus Operations and as valued member of TSU as part of the A&M system and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Three years of related experience

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to learn and utilize ticketing software systems.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Salary Range:

The target base annual salary range is $41,000 up to $45,100 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
