These positions are Seasonal Part-time and event-based.


Position Overview

As a Customer Service Event Staff Member at East Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to all guests attending athletic events. This position includes roles such as ushers and ticket takers, ensuring that each guest has a positive experience from the moment they arrive at the venue until they leave.


You will play a key role in directing guests to their seats, assisting with ticket scanning, answering questions, and ensuring that the venue is operating smoothly. This is a customer-facing position, and you'll be expected to provide friendly and efficient service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for fans, families, and all attendees.


This is a seasonal, part-time position with shifts mainly scheduled between August and March. In addition to working East Texas A&M Athletics events, you may also have the opportunity to work external events across the Dallas area through Rhino’s network of partners.


This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people and want to gain experience in customer service, event operations, and sports management.

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prior experience in customer service, event staffing, or guest services preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk around the venue.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the event season (August–March).
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
