DEPARTMENT: Events

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations and Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Be on time. Be in a clean, presentable uniform and ready to work at your call time.

  • Smile, make eye contact and be courteous!

  • Greet each guest in a warm, friendly manner ("Good evening" or "Welcome to the Sames Auto Arena")

  • Be certain that each guest possesses a valid admission ticket by checking that the proper event name, date and event/box code appears on each ticket.

  • Scan all tickets using computerized scanners.

  • Direct all guest towards the general direction of their seating section ("Section____ is to your left. An usher will show you to your seat").

  • Keep your lines moving as rapidly as possible, and if able, assist other ticket takers by directing longer lines to your area.

  • Check for food, drinks and other contraband.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Previous customer service experience required.
