Position Description:
The Ticket Sales Representative I supports the daily administration and execution of ticket office operations for assigned sports and ticketing initiatives, with primary responsibility for student ticketing and baseball. This position is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to season ticket members, students, and fans by managing ticketing inquiries, account maintenance, payment processing, ticket fulfillment, and event operations. The Ticket Sale Representative I collaborates with the ticket sales, retention, marketing, and development teams to ensure accurate ticket fulfillment, exceptional fan experiences, and efficient operation of ticketing systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer the setup, configuration, testing, and quality control of assigned events within Ticketmaster Archtics, Host, and Account Manager, including manifests, pricing, inventory, offers, ticket types, and event settings.
  • Coordinate annual ticketing system setup for assigned sports, including season ticket rollovers, invoicing, event configuration, pricing validation, and account management settings.
  • Serve as ticket office manager for baseball, including:
    • Coordinate timelines related to season ticket renewals, new sales, seat upgrades, ticket distribution, and reconciliation.
    • Manage ticket operations for home contests, including sales, will call, ticket resolution, access control, and complimentary admissions.
  • Manage all aspects of student ticketing, including:
    • Student account setup and eligibility.
    • Lottery and distribution processes.
    • Student ticket communications.
    • Troubleshooting and customer service.
  • Support football and men's basketball ticket sales and retention initiatives by managing a renewal portfolio, generating new sales opportunities, and assisting in achieving departmental revenue goals through proactive customer outreach and relationship management.
  • Assist with event setup and maintenance for Ticketmaster Resale Marketplace.
  • Assist with ticket operations for stadium concerts and special events, including event setup, manifest maintenance, pricing, auditing, and promoter coordination.
  • Support maintenance and testing of the ticket management functionality within the CardsMobile app.
  • Assist in the setup and management of access control systems, ticket scanners, and point-of-sale equipment for assigned venues.
  • Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, text, live chat, and in-person interactions.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, sales and service activities, account updates, and related ticketing information within Salesforce CRM to support customer relationship management, reporting, and departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with maintaining ticket office webpages, email communications, and other customer-facing ticketing information.
  • Collaborate with Development, Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, and external partners to ensure successful ticket fulfillment and event execution.
  • Remain current on Ticketmaster products and ticketing best practices while supporting department initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with NCAA or ACC postseason events hosted by Louisville Athletics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two (2) years of experience in collegiate or professional sports ticket operations and customer service.
  • Experience working in NCAA Division I athletics.
  • Experience working with Ticketmaster Archtics, Host, Account Manager, or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external constituents.
  • Experience with CRM systems and basic reporting or data analysis.
  • Experience with mobile ticketing and digital ticket management platforms.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
