Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complete initial evaluations for new patients, gathering detailed histories and assessing mobility to create effective and individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on therapies and manual interventions tailored to each patient’s specific needs, utilizing techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment methodologies as necessary to ensure alignment with established rehabilitation goals.
• Establish clear, measurable objectives for patients, providing them with periodic feedback to motivate and guide their recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and facilitating effective communication within the care team.
• Engage in ongoing education regarding advancements in physical therapy practices, incorporating new techniques into patient care as appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Thrive Rehabilitation Center, you will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your compassionate approach and clinical skills will help a diverse population regain their independence and improve their overall functionality. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique needs of each patient, promoting holistic wellness that encompasses physical health and emotional support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Demonstrated clinical skills with at least two years of professional experience engaging in hands-on patient care within a physical therapy setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
• Background in utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and technologies to complement traditional rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 – 100,000, reflective of your experience and professional qualifications. In addition, Thrive Rehabilitation Center provides a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision), a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, and generous paid time off ranging from two to three weeks per year.
