Job description

Overnight Tele Rads Needed for Florida Group  

Physician-owned and -managed private group of 45+ Rads in Miami is seeking overnight tele rads.  They cover 5 hospitals, they do not cover any outpatient or oncology centers.  Choose from working 7 on 7 off or 7 on 14 offHours are 11 pm to 7 am EST.  They also have one opening with hours from 8pm until 4 am working 7 on 14 off.  Must be proficient with CT/CTA, US, MRI, and  plain films.  Ideal candidates would be fellowship trained in Emergency, Body or Neuro (stroke is required) but fellowship is not required.   

Breakdown of RVUs are approx. 70% CT/CTA, 15% US, 12% Plain films and 4 % MRI. 

Payrate:   

  • Overnight  7 on, 7 off  11pm – 7am EST: 
    • $800k for 12 RVUs/hr
      • 12 RVUs... it's a lot. but it is very do-able with their worklist. Most  their  remote physicians are doing 11 to 13 RVUs per year. 
    • would prefer to offer a base salary using 10.5 RVUs - $700k  
  • Overnight 7 on, 14 off  11pm – 7am EST:
    • $475k for 10.5 RVUs  
    • $550k for 12 RVUs  
  • Late Evening 7 on, 14 off  8pm – 4am EST:
    • $450k for 10.5 RVUs  
    • $515k for 12 RVUs

Productivity bonuses are paid at $40.00 per RVU over the contracted threshold which is paid quarterly.
