Position: Paramedic (EMT-P) – Chattanooga, TN


What You’ll Do

As a Vital Paramedic, you will deliver advanced emergency and non-emergency care, including:

  • Responding to emergency and interfacility calls
     
  • Performing ALS assessments and interventions
     
  • Administering medications per Standing Orders
     
  • Reading and interpreting EKGs
     
  • Operating advanced EMS equipment
     
  • Providing patient care throughout transport
     
  • Lifting, transferring, and moving patients safely
     
  • Completing accurate Patient Care Reports
     
  • Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment
     
  • Safely operating an ambulance
     

This role suits Paramedics seeking long-term EMS stability and a well-led operation in Chattanooga.

Requirements:

 Skills, Education & Required Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
     
  • High School Diploma or GED
     
  • Valid Tennessee Paramedic License
     
  • Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
     
  • Strong BLS-level proficiency
     
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
     
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
     
  • Current CPR Certification

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Paramedics must be able to work in:
