Plumber Positions and Responsibilities:
Plumber I - This is an entry level laborer position that has limited to no experience or knowledge in the HVAC industry or plumbing. This position is responsible for the less technical work on the job site such as carrying equipment, assisting in plumbing installation and maintaining the cleanliness of the site. This tradesman does not function unsupervised in any situation. Pay – $18-23/hr
Plumber II - This position is synonymous with an “Apprentice” position in the trades. This position has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have in-depth knowledge of plumbing but still requires some assistance. The Plumber II repairs and replaces plumbing systems, supports and equipment for commercial and industrial applications and is supervised by Plumber III or above. Pay – $23-28/hr
Plumber III - This position is synonymous with a “Journeyman” position in the trades. This position has 5 or more years of experience and is considered to have mastery knowledge commercial plumbing. Ability to work independently in a timely manner. Pay – $28-34/hr
