Overview

Titan Flow Control is seeking a detail‐oriented Quality Inspector I to inspect assembled basket strainers, cones, and related products throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures all products meet company quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with measurement tools, and a commitment to preventing defects before shipment. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about manufacturing quality assurance to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect assembled basket strainers, cones, and components for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
  • Verify products meet engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications
  • Measure dimensions using tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, tape measures, and Go/No‐Go gauges
  • Inspect welds, finishes, coatings, threading, and assembly accuracy
  • Confirm correct materials, gaskets, screens, fasteners, and hardware are installed
  • Perform visual inspections for scratches, dents, burrs, weld defects, surface imperfections, and missing components
  • Complete inspection documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming products
  • Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean, organized inspection area
  • Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
  • Experience inspecting fabricated metal products is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings
  • Proficiency using measurement tools accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
