What is think consulting?

Think consulting refers to a professional service where experts help organizations solve complex problems, develop strategies, and innovate by leveraging critical and creative thinking. These consultants analyze business challenges, provide insights, and recommend actionable solutions tailored to the client's needs. Their goal is to facilitate better decision-making, improve efficiency, and foster growth within companies. Think consulting may focus on a range of areas, from management and operations to technology and organizational change.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a management consultant?

To thrive as a Management Consultant, you need strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a relevant degree such as business, economics, or a related field. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and sometimes industry-specific software such as Tableau or SAP is common, and certifications like PMP or Lean Six Sigma can add value. Exceptional communication, adaptability, and stakeholder management set top consultants apart. These skills are crucial for effectively diagnosing client issues, delivering actionable recommendations, and driving organizational change.

What are some common challenges faced by consultants at a think consulting firm, and how can they be overcome?

Consultants at Think Consulting often encounter challenges such as adapting quickly to new industries, managing multiple client expectations, and balancing tight project deadlines. Success in this environment typically requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate closely with both clients and internal teams. Building strong relationships, seeking ongoing feedback, and staying organized can help consultants overcome these challenges and deliver high-quality results.

Job description

Our story
At think-cell, we create powerful software solutions that help professionals be more efficient and productive. Founded in 2002 and based in Berlin, our tools integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Office to help users create presentations, charts, and diagrams with ease. Our dynamic, international team values creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence.
What you will do
As a Solution Consultant you will partner with sales and customers across the sales process to align our product with customer goals and demonstrate product value through targeted solutioning.
You will become an expert on both our core product and our expanding AI capabilities, developing persona-driven messaging and GTM strategies alongside delivering customized demos. You will also support sales enablement and broader GTM efforts by developing core materials and incorporating performance insights into messaging and positioning.
You will work closely with cross-functional GTM teams in a tech-driven, startup-style environment backed by an established product and funding.
Key responsibilities
  • Create and deliver tailored, high-impact demos and presentations that map products - including our AI tools - to specific persona pain points, workflows, and business outcomes
  • Partner with sales teams to identify and prioritize target accounts, map buying groups, and refine stakeholder strategies for new and existing products
  • Build and maintain core GTM assets (pitch decks, demo flows, battlecards/competitor intelligence) to ensure consistent product positioning aligned with company strategy
  • Analyze GTM performance (consistency of product messaging, win/loss trends, engagement) to derive strategic insights and drive targeted improvements
  • Enable sales through product training and hands-on deal support, reinforcing best practices in messaging, persona targeting, and overall deal strategy

You will be a great fit if you
  • Can understand and communicate complex ideas: you should be tech-savvy as you'll be expected to understand nuanced aspects of the product and be able to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward way
  • Learn quickly and apply an entrepreneurial mindset: you proactively identify opportunities and drive innovative solutions, particularly as we launch new products and feature
  • Are a business presentation expert: you have a proven ability to create engaging, consulting-grade business presentations that tell a compelling story
  • Have strong client-facing skills and think commercially: you should be comfortable at presenting in front of audiences and skilled at incorporating a value perspective
  • Are outcome oriented: we strive for the best results, and we value outcomes. Expect no arbitrary due dates, unproductive meetings, or inefficient layers of management that will impede you from producing great work
  • Experience working with global teams

Your profile
  • 3-5+ years of experience in management or strategy consulting, or have strong product background. We're looking for someone who can understand a product in detail, present it to customers, and think strategically about commercialization
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field of study, MBA from is a plus
  • Strong expertise in PowerPoint, including ability to create highly polished, structured, and visually engaging presentations
  • Excellent communication & storytelling skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience engaging directly with customers and stakeholders, including leading calls and presentations to large audiences is valued
  • Hybrid: Onsite Denver office 3 days per week (Tues - Thurs)
  • Travel: 2x year Berlin, Germany
