We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Theatre & Acting Educator to join our growing team and lead engaging after-school theatre programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about acting, storytelling, and creative expression, and who enjoy creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

In this role, you will:
  • Teach theatre and acting fundamentals to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
  • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
  • Plan and lead engaging acting exercises, improvisation games, storytelling activities, and creative performances.
  • Foster confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork through theatre-based activities.
  • Adapt lessons to different ages, experience levels, and learning styles.
  • Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
  • Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping the learning space clean, safe, and engaging.
  • Schedule: TBC
    Hourly Pay Rate: $50

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
