DeWitts Radiator is a division of AFCO Performance Group and engineers and manufactures premium cooling products for aftermarket automotive, powersports, commercial, and defense markets. We are a team-first company that values craftsmanship, attention to detail, and continuous improvement. If you take pride in building something that works and lasts, you'll fit right in.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday), occasional planned OT, no weekends
  • Clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility
  • Collaborative team culture where your contributions are noticed and valued
  • Competitive pay, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, long-term disability, and paid vacation
  • On-the-job training and certification provided (Hi-Lo operation, CPR, LEAN, ISO, LOTO, OSHA)
  • Opportunity to cross-train across departments and grow your skill set

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for TIG welding aluminum radiator components and fabricated assemblies that power vehicles around the world. You’ll work with blueprints, precision measurement tools, and welding equipment to produce consistent, high-quality products. If you take pride in your craft and hold yourself to a high standard, you’ll fit right in.

What You'll Do

  • TIG weld aluminum radiators, components, and fabricated assemblies to print specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders; use calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges accurately
  • Plan work tasks efficiently to meet production deadlines and productivity metrics
  • Identify and measure material, inspect completed welds, and maintain high quality standards
  • Keep tools and equipment maintained, and your workspace clean, organized, and safe
  • Operate machinery, or cross-train and assist machine operators or other departments as needed
  • Follow work instructions, both verbally and written to meet required deadlines
  • Participate in various collaborative team meetings and committees

What We're Looking For

The best candidates for this role bring more than a skill set, they embrace goals and bring a team mindset.

  • Proven TIG welding experience, specifically with aluminum — must successfully pass our onsite timed welding test
  • Technical school certificate or degree in related field with prolonged job experience
  • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • Competence in the safe use of equipment; recognizes hazards and follows all safety precautions without exception
  • Genuine team player who communicates well, follows direction, and supports fellow team members
  • Recognizes and upholds a high moral quality, takes pride in their work and the company reputation
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, and a willingness to always improve
  • Ability to identify opportunities, improve efficiency, and streamline workstation processes

Physical Requirements

This is active, hands-on work. You should be comfortable with:

  • Standing, walking, and working with your hands throughout a full 10-hour shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and fine-motor hand tasks (pinching, grasping, manipulation)
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Background check and drug screening required prior to starting date
  • Must successfully pass our extensive welding test prior to starting date
  • Confirmation of ability to understand and communicate electronically (tablet use, work email, etc.)
