SUMMARY:
Origlio Beverage is a leading wholesale distributor of fine beer, cider, hard seltzer, and other progressive adult beverages. We are a 4th generation family-owned and operated business, founded in 1933, serving the 9 counties of Southeastern Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on delivering the taste of excellence. Shift: Monday-Friday
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
Employee performs routine manual work in assisting a truck driver in loading and unloading a truck and transferring materials from one point to another.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Driver by performing any combination of the following tasks:
  • Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck.
  • Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Delivers and stacks merchandise on customer's premises and collects payment or obtains receipt for goods.
  • Assist Driver with the proper use of the Keg System at all relevant stops (assuming the truck is outfitted with the system).
  • Assist driver in parking the truck on an as need basis and directed by the driver.
  • ( Helper) Required to get out of the truck, visually ascertain how to instruct the driver and verbally (English) as well as using hand motions, assist the parking of the truck.
  • Occasionally work in breakage, assist in non-forklift related warehouse functions
  • Warehouse/or facility clean up and organizing.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Follow all safety policies.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
  • Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor, employees, and co-workers.
  • Maintain professional customer service.
