Job description

The Bar Team plays a vital role in providing friendly, responsive service to create a great experience for our guests. This team initiates transactions, takes orders, expedites items coming from the kitchen, delivers the food and keeps the guest area spotless. This team is a welcome wealth of knowledge for our guests regarding Pinthouse Beers, and their expertise and commitment to focusing on the needs of every guest enables us to create positive, lasting guest relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Maintain a friendly and engaging demeanor at all times while at Pinthouse
  • Follow and practice all state, city, and PHP alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations
  • Take food orders from guests; accurately enter orders in Toast point-of-sale
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the keg room and responsibility for organizing the cooler, including: line cleaning, keg changing, CO2 troubleshooting, and keg room organization
  • Complete opening and closing checklists, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
  • Understand and comply consistently with our rules, policies and procedures
  • Know our food menu, including possible allergens with the ability to relay it to guests
  • Have a full understanding of our beer, both in broad terms and what is currently available
  • Handle, store and rotate all products properly
  • Accept payment, process credit card charges or make change accurately
  • Clean tables and dining room surfaces continuously throughout the shift
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty
