Job description

Bradley Concrete is a commercial concrete contractor serving over 40 General Contractors the greater San Francisco Bay Area. With a focus on safety, quality and schedule, we deliver exceptional projects while keeping our commitment to great customer service.  We specialize in:
Structural Concrete: foundations, slab-on-grade, cast-in-place walls & columns, suspended cast-in-place slabs, cast-in-place slab-on-metal deck, tilt-up panels, shotcrete, seismic retrofits, slab in-fills, cast-in-place stairs, etc.
Site Concrete: curbs, gutters, sidewalks, ramps, retaining walls, seat walls, decorative concrete, asphalt patching, etc.
Associated Work: structural excavation, drilled piers, demolition, scanning / locating, asphalt paving, striping, concrete reinforcement, earthwork / grading, etc.
Bradley Concrete is a subsidiary of XL Construction. 
Responsibilities:
  • Performs project management responsibilities on multiple large projects,
  • Builds relationships with clients,
  • Oversees subcontracting selection and process, and manage cost, schedule and billing,
  • Contributes and facilitates in a formal presentation for a project,
  • Always promotes the highest level of professionalism and ethics,
  • Develops and facilitates the start of new projects with a good understanding of the estimate and unit costs,
  • Develop instructions to bidders and complete bid packages and estimate new projects with a good understanding of unit costs,
  • Provides direction to Project Engineers,
  • Manages the submittal process,
  • Manages the RFI process,
  • Reviews plan updates, including identifying changes and providing notifications to clients,
  • Compiles and submits change order requests,
  • Records and maintain Change Order Request (COR) log,
  • Follows-up and resolves change order requests,
  • Reviews job cost reports and tracks labor hours and job cost in relation to budget,
  • Enters accurate data into Work-In-Progress (WIP) forecast spreadsheet,
  • Reviews construction schedules,
  • Updates schedule of values for monthly billing,
  • Maintains contact with the client representative, and
  • Displays and embraces Bradley Concrete’s Values.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree with a preference in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in concrete construction within the Bay Area.
  • Good understanding of related trades.
  • Experience with construction safety practices.
  • Strong skill set as a builder and in project management, with solid record of success.
  • Promotes Bradley Concrete policies and procedures to the highest level of ethics and professionalism.
Compensation & Benefits:
In accordance with California’s pay transparency requirements, the base salary range for this position is $131,440-164,300 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may also include performance-based bonuses.
