Guggenheim Securities ("GS") is seeking an Analyst to join its Healthcare Services team in Richmond. This position will focus primarily on covering pharma services and have the opportunity to work with both Richmond and New York based Healthcare Services senior bankers.
The Healthcare Services Group at Guggenheim Securities is a rapidly growing and a critically important strategic initiative for the firm. We provide coverage across various sub-verticals including payors, providers, HCIT, pharma services and animal health.
Our Analysts play an integral role in evolving and enhancing our client relationships and are active participants throughout the life of a transaction and beyond. Our Analysts benefit tremendously from the experience and partnership they have with our Associates, Vice Presidents, Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform financial and valuation analysis such as discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, public and transaction comparable valuation analysis
  • Prepare client pitch presentations
  • Preparation of transaction marketing materials including teasers, information memoranda, company operating models, and other transaction-related documentation
  • Interact with senior bankers, senior management at clients, transaction lawyers and accountants
  • Build and develop relationships with clients through ongoing engagement and demonstration of financial and industry knowledge
  • Perform company and industry research and gain in-depth understanding of sector trends, client challenges and strategies in order to develop innovative and creative solutions for our clients
  • Develop an in depth understanding of M&A deal processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior management
  • Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Effective process management abilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Must have received a Bachelor's degree in December 2025 or Spring 2026.

Work Location
  • Currently, this role is expected to be in the Richmond office at least 4 days per week.

Salary
  • A salary based on an annual rate of $110,000 per year
  • The base salary amount represents the anticipated salary for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The salary listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
