Fruit Stand Store Support

This Position Requires Flexibility (Afternoon/Evening Shifts And Weekends)

Position Purpose: Ensures clean, safe and beautiful environment for guests in the Fruit Stand. Provide excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (Material Responsibilities And Essential Duties)

• Be friendly and helpful to all guests consistently

• Greet all guests around you

• Stock products as necessary

• Ensure displays are well-maintained and appealing

• Operate forklift to unload trucks

• Unload and move product boxes and necessary

• Maintain housekeeping inside and outside the Fruit Stand

• Perform light maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications:

(Minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)

Must be able to be forklift certified.

Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)

Must be able to safely operate large power tools (string-trimmer, power wax stripper/buffer, power washer) and small power tools (drill, sander etc). Able to do tasks ambidextrously (wipe, sweep, operate hose, etc). Some exposure to cleaning products (window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, weed killer and other chemicals.

Work Requirements: [Actual physical work required, i.e. standing at cash register, loading items onto shelves, sitting, working at a computer, etc – include approximate amount of time per day-- N (Never), O (Occasionally up to 3 hrs per day), F(Frequently, 3 – 6 hrs per day), C (Constantly, 6 – 8+ hrs per day), based on 8 hour shift.)]

Full-Time Employee Benefits:

  • Health Insurance - Regular full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental and Vision plans the first of the month following 60-days of employment in full-time status. We also offer various supplemental insurance programs to meet your specific needs.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – Full-time non-exempt employees begin accruing PTO at a rate of one week for the first year of employment, which can be used after 90 days of employment (.01925 hours per regular hour worked). The accrual rate increases to two weeks after two years of employment (.0385 hours per regular hour worked).
