Job description

Dataiku's Financial Systems team is the operational backbone of how the finance organization runs. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys owning a system, solving real problems for real people, and who gets excited when their work makes end users' lives meaningfully better.

NetSuite is at the center of this role, but the ceiling is much higher: this is a growth position where you will quickly ramp up to handle cross-system ticketing and help lead critical optimization projects across our entire financial stack, including Coupa and Navan. Furthermore, we're actively building AI agents inside our financial systems stack, and the person who joins now will have a front-row seat and a real contribution to what comes next.

How you'll make an impact
  • Take full ownership of NetSuite administration: Manage workflows, configurations, user access, and the day-to-day ticket queue, becoming the go-to expert the Finance and Accounting teams actually want to call.
  • Ramp up and expand into Coupa and Navan: Gradually scale your impact to own the administration and day-to-day ticket queues across all primary tools as you get up to speed; this role grows with you.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues end-to-end: Troubleshoot issues across the tech stack, from an AP clerk's procurement question to root cause analysis for system errors, ensuring proper documentation at every step.
  • Execute finance system projects: Actively work on and help lead financial application updates, tool integrations, and process optimization projects to scale our ecosystem.
  • Maintain rigorous change controls: Enforce internal documentation standards so every system modification and project deployment is traceable, auditable, and clean.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business: Your stakeholders range from junior accountants to the Chief Accounting Officer, and you'll interact with all of them directly to deliver successful projects.
  • Get involved in innovation: Help build and test AI agents within our financial systems stack to automate workflows.
What you'll need to be successful

Must-haves:

  • Hands-on NetSuite administration experience: Deep familiarity with workflows, saved searches, system configurations, and a solid grip on the full admin toolkit.
  • Eagerness to support a multi-system ecosystem: Motivation to quickly learn, own administrative tasks, and manage ticket queues for Coupa and Navan alongside NetSuite.
  • Comfort working independently
  • Project management and leadership mindset: Ability to help structure, execute, and lead system improvement projects from requirements to completion
  • Strong controls discipline: You document changes, you understand why controls exist, and you treat your cross-platform ticket queue like a professional record
  • Very good communication: A strong customer service orientation is core to how this team operates

Nice-to-haves:

  • Advanced platform expertise: Experience with Zone Advanced Billing or the Fixed Assets module within NetSuite.
  • Prior platform exposure: Direct Coupa or Navan experience, or familiarity with other procurement/travel tools in the finance stack.
  • Integration or AI Savvy: Experience with integrations (either natively through platforms or via middleware/customization), and/or AI platforms (in building custom KPI dashboards/reporting, reverse ETL automations, webapps, etc..)
  • Professional background: Background in consulting, public accounting, or working at a SaaS company with a complex or hybrid revenue model.
What will make you stand out

Beyond the requirements, here's what the team is genuinely hoping to find:

  • You've worked in a complex NetSuite environment: Experience with on-premise revenue recognition, multi-entity setups, or non-standard billing models will let you ramp faster.
  • You're genuinely curious about AI and automation: You've thought about, read about, or tinkered with automation in the context of financial systems; we're building real agents, and intellectual curiosity here is a real differentiator.
  • You can translate system logic into plain language: The ability to explain what you did, why you did it, and what it means for the business without the jargon is something this team values and uses every day.
