We are hiring for a Full Stack Developer opportunity.

Role: Full Stack Developer

Location: Lansing, MI

Position: 1

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and SQL to develop, maintain, and support enterprise web applications and batch processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving skills, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams while delivering high quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot

Design, develop, and support batch processing applications

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries with a focus on Oracle databases

Perform root cause analysis and resolve application issues

Research emerging technologies and recommend technical solutions for business needs

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle

Utilize Jira for task tracking and Agile project management

Manage source code and version control using Bitbucket

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability through best development practices

Support production issues and implement timely resolutions

Required Skills:

3 to 5 years of experience in Java development

Strong experience with J2EE

Hands on experience with Spring Boot

Strong SQL development skills

Experience developing web applications

Experience working with Oracle databases

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Experience using Jira

Experience with Bitbucket

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills

Ability to perform independent research and recommend solutions
