Description:
Under the supervision of the Chief Operations Officer, the Day Treatment Program Manager (PD) will provide Day Treatment service delivery, overall supervision and management of the Day Treatment staff and program and provide educational testing and Title One services to those students in need.
Essential Functions:
1. Manage and support the staff of the Day Treatment Program to include the Day Treatment QP's, and the Day Treatment AP's and/or Para-Professionals.
2. Ensure all student educational data is up-to-date and correct.
3. Ability to manage and facilitate educational and behavioral health programs.
4. Program development and implementation in accordance with DHSR Day Treatment Service regulations.
Other Duties:
1. Participates in the agency's Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) process.
2. May function as a QP in the Day Treatment program staffing ratio.
3. Assess each student for educational needs to include testing and Title One services if eligible.
4. Performs related duties as assigned by the COO.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or Education from an accredited college or university would be preferred. A Human Services degree from an accredited college or university will be considered. QP status is required. Previous supervisory experience required. A minimum of two years' experience working with the student population in a day treatment or residential setting using a behavioral model is preferred.
Skills/Physical/Working Conditions:
Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License and be insurable by Eliada's carriers. Must have knowledge and experience in computer use with applicable applications.
