Bilingual Soft Chew Formulator

Location: Miramar, FL

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and innovative Bilingual Soft Chew Formulator to lead our Human Soft Chews production and support the development of new supplement products. This role combines daily production oversight with research & development (R&D) and process improvement responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in chemistry, food science, or a related discipline, and experience in FDA-regulated environments such as nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Human Soft Chew production area, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and GMP standards.
  • Supervise and support production staff on the floor, providing guidance and problem-solving as needed.
  • Assist with the formulation and scaling of new soft chew supplement products in collaboration with R&D and leadership.
  • Maintain raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, batch records, and GMP-compliant documentation.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments; assist with pickups and logistics when necessary.
  • Handle production-related administrative tasks such as label printing, batch number control, and shipping prep.
  • Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Contribute to broader cross-functional company initiatives, including product innovation and compliance updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) โ€“ required to communicate effectively with production staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a formulation and/or R&D role within an FDA-regulated industry (e.g., nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, food, personal care).
  • Strong knowledge of GMP standards and production protocols.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Hands-on, collaborative approach with a problem-solving mindset.
