Job description

Occupational Therapist - TGH Outpatient Burn Clinic

The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs to support patients with various cognitive, physical, and functional impairments in achieving their highest level of independence in daily activities. Care is delivered in alignment with evidence-based practice and patient-centered principles. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Essential Functions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and various healthcare information systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, applying sound judgment in clinical decision-making.
Qualifications

Licensure by the State of Florida as an Occupational Therapist. Minimum 1 year experience required Master's degree in occupational therapy Must have experience with patients with Burn injuries.
