Job description

Description

 Family-owned and -operated since 1964, TFE provides high-quality Fluid Power and Power Transmission products to northeast and central Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. TFE is a growing company with emphasis on quality products and service for the OEM customer and the end user.

Transmission & Fluid Equipment, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented ERP System Part Approver to review, validate, and approve purchased and manufactured parts in our Epicor Kinetic ERP system. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate part records, supporting procurement and manufacturing, and ensuring compliance with quality and cost standards.


Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay:

$25hr+ DOE


Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review, coordinate corrections, and approve or reject part setup in Epicor Kinetic.
  • Coordinate and validate part pricing, standard costs, vendor rebates, and lead times.
  • Execute part approval workflows according to procedure
  • Identify and document procedural change suggestions via change management documentation
  • Identify whether parts require incoming inspection or quality checks.
  • Ensure parts meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Assign default receiving site or warehouse based on part usage and sourcing strategy.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to align part delivery locations.
  • Assist in creating and auditing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Bill of Operations (BOOs).
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate routing and material requirements.
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies or gaps in part records.
  • Recommend process improvements for part setup and approval of workflows.
  • Work closely with purchasing, quality, and production teams.
  • Support new product introductions and Method of Manufacturing change processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic or similar ERP systems required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and procurement processes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and validation skills.
  • Familiarity with BOMs, routings, and part lifecycle management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates unwavering commitment to established procedures, regardless of differing viewpoints.
