Job Title: Automotive Sewing Quality Team Lead


Location: Lansing, MI

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM to 4:00 PM)


Job Summary

MS Companies is hiring a Team Lead in Lansing, MI to support quality operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading a team of quality inspectors, managing daily workflow, supporting customer expectations, and helping drive quality, safety, and productivity standards on the production floor. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with previous supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and automotive sewing experience, including seat covers, trim, upholstery, or related automotive textile assembly.


Required Skills & Qualifications

● 2–3 years of experience leading or supervising employees, preferably a team of 5 or more

● Automotive sewing experience required, such as seat covers, trim, upholstery, or related automotive textile assembly

● Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

● Proven ability to lead a team, drive results, and support customer satisfaction

● Strong communication and collaboration skills

● Ability to interpret performance data and support process improvements

● Disciplined approach to managing daily responsibilities

● Hands-on problem-solving mindset with the ability to lead by example
