Job description

Project Manager – Hospitality Manufacturing & Commercial Construction

Build Projects That Come to Life.

At Star Textile, we don't just manufacture window treatments and bedding—we help bring hotels, resorts, casinos, and hospitality spaces across North America to life.

For more than 25 years, we've partnered with leading hotel brands, designers, architects, and ownership groups to manufacture custom hospitality window treatments, bedding, and roller shades—all proudly made in the USA.

We're growing, and we're looking for an exceptional Project Manager who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and precision. If you enjoy reading plans, solving technical challenges, coordinating moving pieces, and seeing a project go from blueprint to completed installation, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for managing commercial hospitality projects from bid award through production, ensuring every detail is accurate before manufacturing begins.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Performing quantity take-offs and verifying project scope.
  • Preparing accurate project estimates, quotations, and material calculations.
  • Verifying dimensions, measurements, and fabrication requirements for custom draperies, roller shades, bedding, and related textile products.
  • Identifying drawing discrepancies and coordinating solutions before production.
  • Preparing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
  • Developing production schedules and coordinating timelines with customers and internal departments.
  • Working closely with Sales, Production, Installation, Purchasing, and Customers to ensure every project stays on schedule.
  • Tracking revisions, approvals, and project changes throughout the lifecycle.
  • Providing technical support and problem-solving during production and installation.
  • Helping deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who enjoys details as much as they enjoy solving problems.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Experience reading architectural drawings and construction documents.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and measurement skills.
  • Experience preparing project estimates, take-offs, and quotations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in commercial construction, hospitality, millwork, custom manufacturing, or related industries.

Bonus If You Have Experience With:

  • Hospitality renovations or new construction
  • Window treatments or drapery systems
  • Roller shades
  • Textile manufacturing
  • Interior design specifications
  • Commercial estimating
