Logistics Coordinator II

Job Summary
Mid-West Textile is seeking a Logistics Specialist II to support transportation, inventory movement, shipment coordination, and supply chain operations. This position is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, managing carrier relationships, tracking inventory movement, resolving shipping issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the logistics process.
The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation, warehousing, supply chain, or logistics operations and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Schedule and track inbound and outbound freight.
  • Work closely with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues.
  • Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate logistics records.
  • Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to ensure material availability.
  • Generate logistics reports and maintain shipment documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures.
  • Assist with process improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost reduction.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse coordination experience.
