Job description

The Opportunity
Are you a design-savvy sales professional with an eye for luxury and a heart for service? We are expanding our team and seeking a talented, high-energy Sales Associate to join our Washington D.C. showroom. In this role, you will represent a world-class portfolio of brands, including Kravet, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils, and Donghia.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Consultative Selling: Identify designer needs to suggest and sell curated product solutions across all categories (textiles, furniture, wallcoverings, carpet and lighting).
  • Inspirational Presentation: Present luxury products in a professional, compelling, and inspirational manner that aligns with each brand's unique aesthetic.
  • Account Management: Diligently follow up on open quotes and leads to maximize conversion and achieve showroom sales goals.
  • Business Development: Conduct regular outreach to reactivate dormant accounts and identify new target customer groups to drive territory growth.
  • Digital Excellence: Utilize our CRM and proprietary systems to log interactions, manage order statuses, and provide seamless customer service.
  • Work with road reps on partnership accounts and closely with a small showroom team.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Industry Expertise: Working experience or formal education in Interior Design is highly preferred.
  • Sales Hunter Mentality: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, specifically in custom home design products (furniture, carpet, etc.).
  • Relationship Builder: Natural ability to build long-term client trust and provide "white-glove" customer service.
  • Tech-Fluent: Comfortable using CRM systems and digital platforms to manage a high-volume workflow.
  • Organizational Mastery: Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
We believe in rewarding proactive sales efforts and commitment to the brand. Our compensation package is designed to provide both stability and high earning potential.
  • Annual Base Salary: $65,000.00- $70,000.00 (Paid hourly).
  • Estimated Base with Commissions: $83,000-$88,000 per year.
  • Plus quarterly bonus potential!
