Job description

Position: Commercial Roofing Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Superintendent with experience in all phases of large and complex commercial roofing projects including experience with all major commercial roofing systems. The Superintendent needs the ability to effectively lead, manage and support field employees in day-to-day activities across a portfolio of jobs This position is based out of Dallas,Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure crews are adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Maintain daily reporting of activities on the job site.
  • Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
  • Monitor job site activities daily and assist in future planning.
  • Preside over weekly meetings designed to coordinate the work.
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
  • Monitor projects with respect to labor scheduling, deadlines, project budgets, material inventory and coordination of when materials to arrive at job site.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and manage construction projects from the planning stages through completion
  • Demonstrate effective scheduling of all items/actions required to complete a project on time and on budget
  • Conduct regular meetings with Foremen and field employees
  • Willing to teach and learn best practices for roofing installation
  • Must be able to manage and track multiple jobs

Requirements

  • 5 years of Foreman or Superintendent experience in commercial roofing
  • Experience managing roofing field workers
  • Commercial Roofing experience and knowledge of most common roofing systems and products
  • Familiarity and ability to use computer/mobile based project reporting software Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels
  • Good Communication Skills
